Our Home

I am aware of a Native American proverb which reminds us to treat the Earth well because it is on loan from our children. The actions I take today will in some way affect the Earth and the future generations that will inhabit it, so I remain mindful of how I am treating the planet that is my home and sanctuary. And I bless the Earth in my prayers.

Today, Susan and I, with other members of the West Springfield Environmental Committee, are participating in a clean-up at Mittineague Park; picking up garbage people have left in the park.
